After being carried off the field by his team and chants of "we want Les", the President of the University King Alexander and the LSU athletic director says Les Miles will stay on as coach of the football team.

Miles told reporters he got the word from Joe Alleva indicating Miles "is our football coach and he will continue to be our football coach."

Reporters say the pressure from the public and support from Governor Bobby Jindal helped decision makers come to this conclusion.

The Tigers beat Texas A&M to wrap up the regular season. Miles and the guys will now start preparing for a bowl game.
