LSU's former grass eating head Coach Les Miles caused a bit of a ripple in the Southeastern Conference football pond with comments he made on a national radio show yesterday.

Coach Miles, speaking with Paul Finebaum on the Paul Finebaum Show October 31st suggested that LSU's defense will be the reason that the Crimson Tide will taste defeat in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.

I think that the secondary wins against Alabama. I think they’re going to have to run the football to beat LSU and I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Miles' comments from the show were chronicled in a report on NOLA.com. Coach Miles also suggested that injuries to Alabama's quarterbacks will have a significant impact on how the Tide offense performs.

Alabama starter Tua Tagovailoa reportedly tweaked his knee during Alabama's win at Missouri and the Tide's other starting-caliber quarterback Jalen Hurts is coming off of a high ankle sprain he sustained during the Tennessee game. These injuries to these key players could make Alabama vulnerable according to Miles.

I think it could be an upset in the making in Tiger Stadium.

Regardless, we do know that Tiger Stadium will be rocking on Saturday night when the two most passionate fan bases in all of collegiate sports get together for what is looking to be an epic college football game.
