JANLA’s Business Role Models Introduced Today
Junior Achievement of North Louisiana (JANLA) held a news conference today at Mall St. Vincent, sponsoring venue for the 14th annual news conference and reception, as well as host to the past laureates’ portrait gallery in the hallway near the mall office. Each 2011 Laureate will spoke briefly about how much the honor means to them. The 2011 Laureates are Dr. Anil Nanda, Dr. Phillip Rozeman and Mr. H. E. “Bud” Storer.
Dr. Anil Nanda is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Dr. Rozeman is the founder of Cardiovascular Consultants – the largest cardiology group in the Ark-La-Tex region. Mr. Storer is Chairman and CEO of Storer Equipment Company Ltd. and has held a Trane Franchise since 1967.
Each year JANLA celebrates business role models in our community who have realized the American dream through ethics, responsibility, leadership, determination, and giving back to the community. The dinner event to honor this year’s Laureates will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 AT THE SHREVEPORT COUNTRY CLUB beginning with a silent auction and cash bar at 6:30 p.m.
