‘Independence Day: Resurgence': 1st Official Trailer [VIDEO]

The movie won't hit theaters until late June, but over eight million folks took a look at the first trailer for "Independence Day: Resurgence" in the first 24 hours after it was released.

The sequel to the 1996 original features the return of some cast members, including Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum and Judd Hirsch. But the star of the first "ID", Will Smith, is noticeably absent.
