Four people are behind bars today, accused of breaking into a residence in Shreveport's Western Hills neighborhood. Police were called to a burglary in progress in the 3000 block of Gorton Road shortly after 11 yesterday morning. When they got there, they saw several people inside the home. They were initially spotted by a watchful neighbor as they were trying to get into the home by kicking in the back door, then they took televisions and firearms. When they saw police, they took off in different directions. All four were caught after a short foot chase. 17-year-old Albert Manigo and 20-year-old Katryle Bryant were both charged with aggravated burglary. Bryant was also charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors. Two juveniles were also arrested and charged with aggravated burglary. The stolen property was returned to the homeowner.
