Breaking News: One Dead, Teen Shot In Back in West Shreveport

Around 2:50 a.m. today a resident called 9-1-1 to report shots fired in the La Tierra subdivision in west Shreveport, off Pines Rd. 

When police and medics arrived on the scene they found a 15-year-old boy who had just been shot in the back, and a 20-year-old man unconscious and not breathing.  The 20-year old was pronounced dead at the scene.  The teenager was taken by ambulance to LSU Health in Shreveport.  The severity of his wound is not known at this time.

A suspect in the shooting is said to be wearing all black and took off on foot.  His whereabouts are unknown at this time.
