Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks Coming To Play At CenturyLink Center

The Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission has announced that NBA preseason basketball is coming to Bossier City's CenturyLink Center.

The Dallas Mavericks will take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, October 23rd at 7pm. The game will be the final preseason contest for both squads.

Ticket prices are expected to range from $12 to $125 and will go on sale this Friday, June 20th. Military and other ticket discounts will be available.

The Mavericks, led by future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki, finished with a record of 49-33 this past season, losing in a seven game, opening round series to eventual champion San Antonio.

The Pelicans finished an injury plagued year at 34-48 and haven’t made the playoffs in three seasons.
