Did Your Neighborhood Win a National Night Out Award?

National Night Out in Shreveport was quite a success. More than 100 neighborhoods hosted parties.

Now the results are in for the best parties in our community. The winners were chosen based on comments from guests and documentation of participation, photos of the event and a sampling of some of your printed materials like flyers and posters.

The judges also considered the originality of the event and the activities.They also wanted to know how your event will help prevent crime in your neighborhood.

These block party locations were voted as the 2017 National Night Out winners for the city of Shreveport.

-         Acadiana Place Subdivision

-         Lakeside Acres HOA

-         200 block of Pomeroy Drive

-         600 block of Hendrix Place Circle

-         5900-6200 block of Dillingham Avenue

-         1700 block of Hollywood Avenue

-         1800 block of Christopher Glen Street

-         600 block of Hoover Drive

The winners will get a sign designated their neighborhood as a winner.
