Caddo Urging Parishwide Water Conservation

Caddo Parish officials are urging water conservation throughout the entire parish — not just in the area with the declared ground water emergency. Those folks — in Keithville and the Ellerby Road area — are under even more stringent water restrictions…imposed by the Department of Natural Resources. But Parish Administrator Woody Wilson says “all” parish residents are being urged to conserve water — to decrease usage as much as possible. Citizens are being urged to water gardens during the coolest part of the day; use washing machines and dishwashers only at full capacity; turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth; and take short showers instead of baths.
