Bossier City Target Promotes Young Adult Sex Education
You've got to see this to believe it. My friend Ann took this picture in Bossier City's Target this morning.
I wasn't aware the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy was considered appropriate Young Adult reading. I know grown women who wouldn't be caught in public with the books. I'm pretty sure it's considered erotica.
According to local listener Mimi Paxton, the Bossier Parish Library told her the young adult section is intended for readers in the 12 to 18-year-old range.
In fact, their Teen Advisory Board recommends books for their Young Adults section. The TAB is open to those 13-19 years of age. Among the books recommended? The Harry Potter and Hunger Games series.
