Saturday was a good one for the fight against breast cancer. That's the day the second annual Party in Pink Zumbathon took place -- to raise awareness and money for the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Nearly 100 community members participated -- and $1,400 was raised at the dance-fitness event at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bossier City. Local Zumba instructor Jennifer Nesbitt coordinated the whole thing, and she says she's glad she and other instructors had the opportunity to join the fight against breast cancer. In addition to dancing, participants also heard personal stories from breast cancer survivors -- and got chances to win lots of great raffle prizes.
