Like to bowl? This Saturday, February 15 is your chance to 'Bowl for Boobies!' Yep, we're talking about saving the ta-tas!

This Saturday, you can attend the Bowl for the Cure event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holiday Lanes in Bossier City with proceeds benefiting the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Bowl for the Cure, A event benefiting the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, to be held February 15th, 2014 from 11am to 2pm at Holiday Lanes in Bossier City.

Bowl for the Cure is an annual fund raising event hosted by Holiday Lanes in Bossier City. This event will consist of 4 member teams and the cost is $25 per person. There is no average required and children are welcome to participate. A commemorative event T-shirt will also be included. Nine pins knocked down will count as a strike. There will be a silent auction along with raffle drawings and door prizes. Decorated bowling pins will be auctioned at the event in honor or memory of someone who has had breast cancer.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen ®. The one day event will be held this year on Saturday, February 14th 2014 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be hosted at Holiday Lanes in Bossier City on 3316 Old Minden Road. An educational table with literature about breast cancer will be set up to give everyone an opportunity to learn a lifesaving breast health message. There will also be Komen tee shirts for sale
Over 75 percent of all funds generated by the Komen Northwest Louisiana Affiliate through the Race for the Cure® and fundraising events like Bowl for the Cure, stay in Northwest Louisiana while the remaining income goes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Programs supporting national scientific evidence based research around the world.
