A Trial Date Set in One Case…Another One Continues

Tina Vanmoerkerque will be back in Caddo District Court this morning for further proceedings on a first-degree murder charge. She's accused in the July 2010 shooting death of Ernest Luttrell. He was found shot to death inside his residence in the 12200 block of Greenwood Springridge Road in Keithville.

And a trial date has been set for Alicia Ann Tucker and Lamondre Tucker, who are both charged with conspiracy to commit jury tampering. The charge stems from their actions during jury selection at Lamondre's first-degree murder trial last March. He was convicted by a Caddo Parish jury and sentenced to death. During a three-hour evidentiary hearing yesterday, Judge Scott Crichton denied nearly 30 defense motions and set a May 7th trial date.
