2-Year-Old Riding Big Wheel In Bossier Parish Killed

Last night, a single vehicle crash killed a child from Plain Dealing, LA. Troopers responded to the crash around 8:30 pm, which happened on Old Plain Dealing Hwy north of LA Hwy 3.

The crash involved a plastic pedal toy, ridden by 2-year-old Gavin O. Brown and a 1997 Chevrolet was north bound on Old Plain Dealing Hwy when it collided with the plastic pedal toy and the child, who was located in the north bound lane. Brown was transported to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
