
Winter Storm Warning for Shreveport Bossier
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory for a large part of the Arklatex.
The Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory are in effect from 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon through 8:00 am Monday morning. Widespread snowfall accumulations of 1-4 inches will be possible with the higher amounts expected in the warning area.
The highest totals are expected in an area from Abilene, San Angelo and Waco, Texas. As much as 4" of snow could fall in those areas. Dallas will see some snow flurries, but it is unclear if it will stick.
As the system moves into Northwest Louisiana late Sunday night, the Shreveport Bossier area could get 1-3 inches of snow.
Snowfall amounts in West Texas have caused some slow going for motorists.
