Political analyst Scott Hughes talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the possibility of voter backlash to last week's unanimous city council vote against Mayor Ollie Tyler's proposal to build a new, downtown sports arena complex...and, if so, who could be affected?

Hughes tells KEEL listeners that when it comes to next fall's Shreveport mayoral race, "This is a bomb that went off and had collateral damage everywhere." Hughes also points out that the damage, if any, doesn't stop with a Tyler reelection bid, but with some of those who are rumored to be possible opponents.
