Wendy’s Favorite Could Be Hitting Shreveport Grocery Stores Soon
At first, I thought my love for Wendy's Chili was one of those guilty pleasures you didn't really want to tell anyone else about. But I see I'm not the only one.

The only complaint I have about Wendy's Chili is the fact that, for some unknown reason, they stopped selling it in the "Family Size" containers. You can only get it in the single serving cups, at least at the Wendy's I frequent most. Please let me know if you find the Family size at your favorite location.
Well now, Wendy's Chili lovers can rejoice. It appears you will soon be able to find that guilty pleasure on the shelf of your favorite local grocer.
It appears the chili won't be coming from Wendy's, but rather a packaged food producer, Conagra Foods. I would imagine if it has the Wendy's logo, it has Wendy's approval. So if has Wendy's approval, I would imagine that they'll be using the original Wendy's recipe. But if they do, will it also include leftover hamburger meat?
Years ago, the story goes that Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, was looking for a way to use leftover meat before its' expiration date. So he combined the meat with beans, veggies, and spices to come up with a delicious solution to his problem.
I haven't seen a release date for when the chili will actually be in stores. The notifications have all said "Later this year."
