Wal Mart Approved For North Bossier

Despite heavy contention from the community, the Bossier City Council has voted to rezone property in North Bossier for a New Wal Mart. The property, located at Wemple Road and Airline, was green lit with a 5 to 1 vote.

Council members say the move is a smart one and will bring tax dollars and jobs to the city. They went on to say Wal Mart has tweaked the design and made some changes to be more accommodating. At this time, a date to begin construction has not been revealed.
