In this day and age of smartphones, there is absolutely no strange incident that doesn't go unfilmed. No, I don't think the world has gotten stranger. I do think, based on the video evidence that's readily made available on social media platforms, that we are documenting that strangeness better though.

Having just lived through Mardi Gras in South Louisiana we know how human behavior can sometimes, okay all the time, be affected by alcohol consumption. And in most cases, the strangest videos see the light of day when the alcohol consumption translates into a blood alcohol concentration higher than the law allows.

Such was the case earlier this month in Orlando Florida. A woman attempting to board a flight at the Orlando International Airport was denied the privilege of boarding because, in the eyes of airline personnel, she was too drunk to fly.

As you might imagine the denial of boarding privileges did not sit well with the allegedly intoxicated traveller. She proceeded to have words with the gate attendants who proceeded to call security.

As security was arriving on the scene the intoxicated passenger plopped down on her motorized suitcase and began to drive away. Video from the scene shows some of what happened as gate personnel and security attempted to reason with the intoxicated lady.

I will warn you there is NSFW language in the video. For the most part, the bad words have been "beeped out" but you still might be able to figure out the points the intoxicated lady is attempting to make. Basically, she thinks she is just fine to fly and she believes the security and gate people need to go "make love alone". That's a much nicer way to say what she said, don't you think?

Despite the amazing speed of the motorized suitcase the intoxicated lady was eventually captured and taken away to sober up and face the music. Well, at least she wasn't arguing about wearing a face mask,  so that part was at least a little different.

Meanwhile, if you're tired of airport issues or high gas prices why not take your next vacation a lot closer to home? For example, this place looks really nice and it's right down the road.
