Vehicle Fire Spreads to Bossier Apartment Complex Building
A vehicle fire this afternoon in Bossier City causes damage to an apartment complex building.
Firefighters were called to the Cordova Court Apartments in the 900 block of Westgate Drive at around 1 p.m. to reports of a vehicle fire. When they arrived, they found the blaze had quickly spread to a portion of one of the apartment buildings.
Crews had the fire out in less than 10 minutes and managed to keep it from spreading inside the building. The four-door passenger car, however, was destroyed, along with part of a wooden balcony at the complex.
While crews were battling the flames, other firefighters checked neighboring apartments to make sure no one was inside. No residents were home and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
