It's not looking any better for New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara after his indictment for his role in a severe beating of a man in Las Vegas.

KLAS reporter David Charns tweeted the following video of Kamara claiming "I connected with the (expletive) jaw so hard."

Kamara was arrested on February 6th, 2022 after an altercation broke out in a Las Vegas nightclub. Three other NFL players were also involved, including Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons, Darrin Young, and Percy Harris.  All four men are accused of battery against Darrell Greene Jr., causing the alleged victim substantial bodily harm.

The incident took place last year while Kamara was in Las Vegas for the Pro Bowl.  He was still allowed to play in several games during the 2022 season, as the case was delayed.  The NFL still hasn't released any formal statement or decision in the case citing "pending law enforcement and legal activity," according to the report from KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.

It would seem that after the battering, (pun intended) the reputation of the NFL has taken over the past few years,  they would distance themselves as far away, as fast as they could from actions like this.  I know due process has to take place before anyone can be found guilty in a court of law, but to not even release a statement condemning the alleged actions of these men, is reprehensible behavior from the league.
