Two Teens on Horseback Hit by Pickup in Shreveport

Two teens riding horses are hit by a pickup truck in Shreveport.

The accident happened on Hollywood near I-49 around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Shreveport police say two juveniles were riding two horses when they reportedly darted out in front of traffic. The teens were hit by a Dodge pickup truck. The two young people suffered moderate injuries, but one of the horses had to be put down on the scene. The driver was not hurt.
