Two Indicted on Rape Charges

A Desoto Parish grand jury has indicted two men in unrelated rape cases. The grand jury has indicted 58-year-old Timson Barnes of Mansfield on a charge of aggravated rape for the alleged rape of a 10-year-old child last year. In an unrelated case, the grand jury has also indicted 35-year-old Stewart Holloway of Karnack, Texas, on a charge of aggravated rape for an assault on an 8-year-old. If convicted, both men face life in prison without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. They're both scheduled for arraignment Monday.
