Big Budget TV Series Is Filming in South Louisiana

Hollywood is back in Louisiana for some high profile projects.

NBC is developing a true crime series that it plans to air sometime next year. The series is reportedly being filmed at a few locations including New Orleans and Hammond, Louisiana which is just east of Baton Rouge.

This series is called ‘The Thing About Pam’. The star of the series is Renée Zellweger. But you will recognize some of the other names attached to this project. Josh Duhamel who is best know for the Transformer movies is also a player in this series.

This  series focuses on the murder of Betsy Faria that landed her hubby in jail. That conviction was eventually overturned. And the story takes a serious of imaginative turns from there.

Deadline.com reported shooting for the series was set to begin in September, but that was pushed back because of Hurricane Ida.
