True Bills Returned in Four Shreveport Murder Cases
The Caddo Parish Grand Jury has returned true bills against four Shreveport men charged with second-degree murder.
According to the Caddo District Attorney's Office, 23-year-old Jakarris Harper and 18-year-old Donterious Davenport are charged with the July 20 slaying of 23-year-old Ricardo Anderson. He was found shot to death on the side of the road in the 2900 block of Curtis Lane.
LaBroderick Alexander, 31, is charged with the July 17 slaying of 35-year-old Kevin White, who was shot in the face during a dispute in the 100 block of North Greenbrook Loop.
Forty-nine-year-old Jerry Jackson is charged with the July 20 deaths of 25-year-old Kendrick Brown and 27-year-old Michael Dillard, who were shot during a domestic dispute at a home in the 3300 block of Bond Drive.
If they're convicted, they're looking at the possibility of life in prison with no chance of parole or reduction of sentence.
