
Tropical Storm Isaac Flight Cancellations at New Orleans Airport
All flights in to and out of New Orleans have been cancelled as of Tuesday, August 27 due to Tropical Storm Isaac.
Flight cancellations were released by American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.
Isaac is expected to grow into a Category 1 hurricane, and will hit land in New Orleans late Tuesday night with winds of 74 mph to 95 mph.
A news release from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport states that all airlines have stopped flying as of Monday night. There will not be any flights scheduled on Tuesday and some airlines are cancelling flights on Wednesday.
