[UPDATE] Train Derailment In Keithville

Breaking News: A train has derailed in Keithville. Injuries are reported, although we do not yet have confirmation on the types of injuries or how many people were injured.

[UPDATE] A tanker truck driver has been hospitalized after his vehicle was hit by the train. He's expected to recover. Train operators, including the conductor and engineer, suffered only minor injuries.

Caddo Parish police and fire have responded to an engine derailment shortly after 9 a.m. Few other details, including the name of the company that owns the train and the extent of injuries, have been confirmed.
