Brando: Percentage of Arena Opposition Is Race Based

Fox Sports broadcaster Tim Brando tells 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Greg Atoms that he is giving his wholehearted support to Mayor Ollie Tyler's proposal to build a sports arena in downtown's Cross Bayou area.

Brando tells KEEL listeners that he's been on board with the idea "from the very beginning" and that Tyler's team "is very, very good." But the veteran play-by-play announcer also says that he has personal experience that a "significant percentage" of opposition to the Mayor's proposal is based on race.
