Mayor Adrian Perkins has addresses concerns about a city paid cell phone number popping up on a robocall featuring a Perkins recording urging voters to support Governor John Bel Edwards.

Lots of questions are being asked today about a robocall that went out this week in support of incumbent Governor John Bel Edwards. That's all fine and completely legal, but something happened with this call that is not legal.

Robocalls are a rising nuisance in the U.S., and many of them are illegal scams.
