There are plenty 4th of July celebrations going on throughout the Ark-La-Tex, including some near Shreveport and Bossier City. Here are some of the biggest fireworks displays, city by city.
A fire broke out on the 4th of July around 5:25 p.m. in west Shreveport in the 6900 block of Klug Pines Road. The smoke brought out lots of neighbors from a nearby trailer park, and the road was blocked off for some time to all through traffic.
Fourth of July fireworks shows have been cancelled in several big cities including Chicago, but the big display in Shreveport Bossier is still going to happen.
