Suspect Charged In SUV Murder Case Stabbed Boyfriend In 2018
Shreveport Police have charged 21-year-old Shameka Ellis with one count of Second Degree Murder, after they say she ran over a woman in Shreveport earlier this week.
Investigators say Ellis ran over 21-year-old Louquandelyn Hargrove of Minden, after the two had been involved in a physical altercation. After the suspect ran over and pinned the victim with her SUV, the suspect fled the scene. Witnesses told police that Hargrove had been running away from Ellis when she was hit and pinned.
KTBS is reporting that in 2018, Ellis was taken in for questioning by police, after she stabbed her boyfriend to death during a domestic dispute. They report that Shreveport Police Cpt. Marcus Hines shared that a Grand Jury had considered charges in the stabbing, but ultimately determined no crime had been committed.
Shreveport Police told KTBS that Ellis, and the boyfriend she stabbed, had a history of domestic violence.
