Suspect Arrested in Southern Hills Park Shooting

Shreveport police have arrested one person in connection with a shooting last Sunday at Southern Hills Park.  

After an intensive investigation by violent crimes investigators, detectives were able to identify 18-year-old Lloyd Ivory as a primary suspect in the crime.  He surrendered at Police Headquarters after learning that he was wanted.  He's been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of aggravated battery.

The victim of the shooting, 18-year-old Jamarisai Wade, was shot once in the leg.  He's being treated at University Health and is expected to make a full recovery.
