BREAKING NEWS: Earthquake Felt Around Shreveport Sunday Night

SHREVEPORT, LA - Things were shaking around Shreveport on Sunday night. Another earthquake has been reported in the area.

This latest quake was reported in Caddo Parish just after 11pm last night. It could be felt in Blanchard and Mooringsport.

It registered 3.0 on the Richter scale. The U.S. Geological Survey reports it was about 3 miles deep. we seem to be having a resurgence of quakes. several were reported in the area back in December.

Last month, the U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 3.3 earthquake in the Uncertain, Texas area. But this quake could be felt across Shreveport and Bossier. Many residents of Blanchard, Mooringsport and Oil City are also reported to have felt the shaking. There were also other quakes in that same week.
