State Rep Alan Seabaugh Says Governor Edwards Is Hanging “Not Open for Business Signs” in Our State
State Representative Alan Seabaugh of Shreveport clears up his vote on the budget. During the special session, he did vote for cuts, but he did not vote to use $99 million from the Rainy Day Fund.
He joined us to clear up the confusion about his votes and to talk about the problem with the Governor's budget for next fiscal year. He says it is not friendly to business at all and will run businesses out of our state.
Seabaugh says Louisiana has the highest sales tax in the nation and unless that changes, we will continue to have trouble attracting business and industry.
