Shreveport Teen Shot and Killed Days Before Graduation
Shreveport Police were called to the scene of a shooting Wednesday (5/1/24). The call came in around 6:46 pm from the 800 block of West 70th Street in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers were told of a teenage male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
Police discovered that the teenager died as a result of his wounds shortly after arriving at the hospital via private vehicle. It has been confirmed that the young man was a Senior at Woodlawn High School, and was set to graduate this month.
This is an ongoing investigation and no other details are available at this time. More will be added to this story as information is forthcoming.
