SPAR’s Annual Black History Program Coming Up

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) Chris Hays Community Center will hold its annual Black History Program “Shreveport’s Finest: African American Pioneers”, on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30am to 12:00 noon.  The center is located at 4300 Illinois Street.

Special guest speaker for the event is Mr. Walter Hollins, noted Activist and Shreveport Historian.  Special featured guest will be Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw.
