SHREVEPORT, LA – What are the snobbiest cities in Louisiana? How do you even determine this list? Well, the folks at Road Snacks have put together the list and you probably won’t be surprised by the Louisiana places that make the list.
But we do want to point out Louisiana is not among the snobbiest states in the nation. Massachusets tops that list. Louisiana is number 32 on the list.
This online blogging site checked out several factors when determining the snobbiest cities in the state. They looked at high income areas, pricey homes and highly educated areas. They analyzed 58 communities in Louisiana with a population of more than 5,000 people to put together this list.

None of these places are in North Louisiana. Shreveport lands at #28 on the list. Natchitoches is #36. Bossier does not make the list. Minden is on the list at #46. Baton Rouge comes in at #12 on the list. Ruston is the highest ranking “snobby” town in our region, checking in at #18.
Road Snacks does say “Before you get upset and ruin your blowout or something drastic here, lets remember that this is all in good fun. Would we live in one of these 10 places if we had the chance? Of course, we would.”
Bastrop, Ville Platte and Marksville are listed as the most laid-back places in Louisiana.
