Shreveport Police Seeking Woman Wanted on Gun Charges

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public's help located a woman wanted on gun and drug charges.

Back in July, SPD executed an arrest warrant on Nancy Dong. Police executed the warrant at a Canal Boulevard home. Once Police were inside, they found suspected narcotics and a gun out in plain view. SPD requested the assistance of the Violent Crime Abatement Team (VCAT) to assist in this matter.

VCAT responded to the scene and collected evidence and conducted interviews. After the initial investigation, SPD Detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Dong for one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

SPD is urging anyone with information that could lead to Dong's arrest to come forward.
