Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department are seeking the identity of a man responsible for a violent assault that happened at a local Walgreen's.

Back in May, the unknown man entered the Walgreen's on Southfield Road and started a verbal altercation with the employee behind the counter, after being asked for an ID to buy alcohol.

The situation escalated when the suspect went behind the counter and started beating the employee, striking him several times. Despite efforts by Detectives, they have been unable to identify the suspect in the video below.

Shreveport Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to this man's identity and arrest.

From SPD:

"Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. Callers can remain anonymous, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.

The Shreveport Police Department appreciates the community’s help in holding violent offenders accountable."
