Shreveport’s Max Chambers Shines on NBC’s The Voice
The fate of Shreveport singer Max Chambers is now in the hands of the public. He is one of the members on Michael Buble’s teams on the NBC competition show “The Voice.”
We are now in the playoff rounds on the show where each coach selects one artist to move forward to the live finales. Buble has selected Jazz McKenzie from his team to advance in the playoffs.
During the Monday night playoff battles, Chambers sang “A Change Is Gonna Come”, a Sam Cooke classic.
Is this the end of the road for Chambers? Not quite yet. Each coach will send one singer through to the finale and then the public gets to pick 2 wild card contestants.
Wild card voting is happening now on The Voice website or app.
Chambers is also in the running for the Mic Drop award. Voting for that wrapped up last week, but we won’t know the winner until Monday, December 8. The Mic Drop winner will get to perform during the Rose Parade next month.
