
Remembering Cole Vosbury’s Unforgettable Moments on the Voice
When the reality singing shows were all the rage, I was a huge fan. You could find some amazing talent on these shows. Several local artists made it to the big stage. This week, we turn the clock back 12 years to when Cole Vosbury of Shreveport took his talent to ‘The Voice’.
Vosbury wowed the judges in 2013 with his rendition of “Movin on Up” the theme song from the TV show ‘The Jeffersons’. It was something fresh and different. That episode aired on September 24. How has it been 12 years already?

Vosbury's first team on "The Voice" was Team CeeLo. He joined CeeLo Green's team after his blind audition. He was later stolen by Blake Shelton in the knockout rounds after his performance of "Let Her Go."

As a member of Team Blake, Cole demonstrated his versatility. He performed a range of songs, including "Shameless" and "To Be With You." A notable performance was his take on "I Still Believe in You" by Vince Gill, which earned praise from his coach. Cole's unique, soulful voice and his ability to blend different genres made him a standout contestant throughout the live shows.
How Far Did Cole Vosbury Make it on ‘The Voice’?
Vosbury finished as a Top 5 finalist in the competition. Following his elimination, he expressed contentment with his journey on the show, stating that making it to the Top 5 was beyond his wildest expectations. He also spoke about his coach, Blake Shelton, and how Blake had helped him grow as a performer and become more comfortable in his own skin.

Cole Vosbury also wowed the crowd and the judges when he performed the Rod Stewart classic 'Maggie May' on the November 4 episode.

If you are reading this, I'm here 10 years later to say thank you. I'm glad that my performance of this song meant something to you. I had a vision in my head when I first heard the song and this video is that exact vision. We shared a moment. it was my life, and it was your life too.
You can catch Cole performing with his partner Amanda June as part of The Lovers. The pair met in Nashville and have been bringing us beautiful music since then. They will be performing at the Red River Revel and several other local spots in the next few weeks.
