Shreveport Man Arrested for Stabbing Woman in the Head

Shreveport Police have arrested 52-year-old Tyrus Jackson in connection with a stabbing that occurred on November 30, 2024, at 2488 David Raines Road in the Prince Village area.

Officers responded to a report of a 27-year-old female who had been stabbed in the head by a male assailant. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim arrived at the location to drop off her children when Jackson allegedly attacked her and began stabbing her.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.

Tyrus Jackson was taken into custody and has been charged with second-degree aggravated battery.
