Shreveport Six Remembered at Emotional Event at Splash Kingdom
Hundreds of people showed up at Splash Kingdom to remember six teenagers who drowned in the Red River five years ago.
It was a celebration of the memories of the Warner and Stewart families who have forever been changed as a result of this tragedy.
We want you to remember their names:
Brothers Litrelle Stewart, 18; Latevin Stewart, 15; and LaDairus Stewart, 17; and siblings Takeitha Warner, 13; JaMarcus Warner, 14; and JaTavious Warner, 17 all died In the tragedy on the river.
Lanterns were lit and floated off into the sky at sunset to remember each of the drowning victims for the 5th anniversary at Splash Kingdom Saturday evening.
Entry to the park was free to the first 500 for this emotional evening.
