On November 8, 2024, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4700 block of Lyba Street, leading to the arrest of Deangelo Evans, a 33-year-old male. Evans was charged with Illegal Carrying of Weapons, Illegal Use of a Weapon, and Possession of Schedule II Narcotics.
Later that same day, Gavin Krueger was arrested for multiple narcotics-related offenses and possession of a firearm in connection with a controlled dangerous substance.
On November 9, 2024, officers initiated a traffic stop near Hollywood Avenue and Hearne Avenue, where they apprehended Jacard Holmes, 50, for possession of various narcotics and a firearm. Holmes now faces multiple charges, thanks to the vigilant work of SPD's proactive patrol units.
Additionally, during a recent traffic stop, Nicholas King, a 45-year-old convicted felon, was arrested after officers discovered he was in possession of a firearm. King was also found to have outstanding traffic warrants and now faces charges related to illegal firearm possession.
