Shreveport police detectives have released video footage of a potential suspect and a vehicle, both of which are believed to be linked to the shooting death of a local man last week.

The video shows what appears to be a male exiting a light-colored SUV near a wooded area close to the 3800 block of Camrose Lane in west Shreveport back on May 11.

Just inside the woods, authorities found the burnt-out remnants of a vehicle belonging to 46-year-old Jed Howard. He was shot and killed at his home in the 8200 block of Wildbriar Drive. His black Saturn was stolen during the incident.

Investigators are hoping someone will come forward with information that leads to the identification of the suspect. You can call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or submit a tip online. A $1,000 reward is being offered if an arrest is made.
