[UPDATE] Shreveport Police Investigating Cedar Grove Murder

[UPDATE, May 25, 2015] The man found shot to death in his Ascalon Street home is identified as 42-year-old Alphonso Lawrence. Police say he suffered several gunshot wounds to the upper body. No suspects have been identified.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  A man was found shot to death inside his Cedar Grove home.

Few details are available as detectives continue to gather evidence. The shooting happened in the 900 block of Ascalon St. just after 7PM Sunday. Police say the victim is believed to be in his early 50's. He died at the scene. No suspects have been arrested yet, but officers are looking into what happened.
