Police are looking for answers -- and suspects -- in an early-morning shooting. Somebody shot 55-year-old Kerry Thomas in the right shoulder early this morning. Now Shreveport police are trying to determine who and why. When patrol officers initially contacted Thomas about 3:30 this morning in the 51-hundred block of Monkhouse Drive, he told them that two guys had approached him while he was sitting in his truck and demanded money. Then one of them pulled a gun and shot him. He's being treated at LSU Hospital for what's described as a non-life-threatening wound. But detectives say the story he's told them is inconsistent with what he originally told patrol officers. So they're trying to get to the bottom of it.
