Shreveport Natives Who Played in the NBA

Believe it or not, the Shreveport - Bossier City area is a basketball hotbed. Despite the shortage of top level college hoops in our area, a number of players have gone from Caddo and Bossier Parish high schools to excel at the major college game.

A little known fact is that upwards of fifty Shreveport - Bossier ballers have been drafted by a NBA team, but, honestly, a rare few have gone on to make a roster in "The League."

From the best known (Hall of Famer Robert Parrish) to the journeyman (Loyola College Prep's Billy Thomas), here's a quick list of our players who made it to the top...even if just for a little while.
