Shreveport is moving full steam ahead with bike paths on a few local streets. Several residents showed up for another public meeting to talk about the proposals on the table.

In the end, the city will put in "sharrows" which are shared lanes bicyclists and cars use. The striping and signage will be installed on Ockley Drive from Line to Gilbert and on Creswell from Stoner to Ockley. The city will also have a dedicated bike lane on Gilbert from Stoner to Ockley.

Chief Administrative Officer Brian Crawford talked with us about the plan.
