List of Shreveport Mayoral Forums Coming Up

It seems like there is a Shreveport Mayoral forum every few days as we close in on the November election.  But if you have missed the forums so far, you have several other opportunities to listen to the 10 candidates for mayor.

Fall Election Information

The election is Tuesday, November 8.

The deadline to register to vote online at Geauxvote.com is October 18. The last day to register to vote in person is October 11.  Early voting kicks off on October 25 and wraps up on November 1.

Shreveport Chamber 3 Part Series

October 18, 2022 7:00PM-8:30PM

Shreveport Chamber - Louisiana State University in Shreveport One University Place

October 20, 2022 7:00PM-8:30PM

Shreveport Chamber - Southern University Shreveport 3050 Dr Martin Luther King Drive

October 25, 2022 5:00-7:00PM

Southern Hills Business Association - Southwood High School, 9000 Walker Rd.

Ten candidates are running for Mayor of Shreveport. Not all ten are expected at all of these forums. The first one was held earlier this summer at the YMCA and they did cover lots of issues, but with so many candidates, it is difficult to get into too much detail on most topics. The focus of many of the forums recently has been crime and infrastructure. Those are the two key issues on the minds of many voters.
